Taking the Pan-American Highway west to Puntarenas Province. Near Puntarenas the road veers north - follow the signs to Liberia-, and take the turn off for the La Amistad Bridge. Once you have crossed over the Gulf of Nicoya, head to the town of Santa Cruz. From Santa Cruz, head west towards Tamarindo, and after about 25 minutes on this road, take the turn off onto a non-paved road and, following the signs, you will reach Villa Real. Do not turn left. Head towards Huacas for another five minutes, If you are coming from Liberia, just take the south road, look for Belen, and follow the signs. You will see our informative signs at different points along the road to Tamarind Beach. At the intersection in Huacas, go two miles on the main road towards Tamarindo.Rent a Car:
